Patients complaining of ankle pain
This is the story of Madivareum Korean Clinic (Yeoksam, Seoul), which accounts for a large proportion of patients with ankle pain.
Most of the ankle (foot) diseases are ankle sprains, and many people also complain of pain in the front and inside of the ankle, heel pain, and plantar pain. If you look carefully at the feet of these patients, there is something in common.
Common features of ankle and foot diseases

People with ankle and foot problems may have their feet turned outward (supination) or inward (pronation). Supination (pronation) of the foot and ankle leads to external rotation (internal rotation) of the hip. Abnormalities in the feet and hip joints naturally cause pain in the lower back, pelvis, and knees, and often lead to incorrect gait.
Most (though not all) of these patients have abnormalities in the 'arch' of the foot. Just like flat feet or low feet.
Depth of Prescription: The Fundamental Prescription

Patients visit the hospital after the disease has progressed to a certain extent, that is, because they feel pain. Pain can be relieved through acupuncture, cupping, and Chuna therapy. However, if the arch deformity of the foot is severe enough to be assumed to be the direct cause of the pain, a longer-term and more active prescription is required.
Arch finder and functional foot support

Madivareum Korean Clinic introduced X-Body's Arch Finder AF. AF analyzes the flatfoot process by taking pictures of the plantar arch through a scan function. Also, the size of the arch (lateral arch, longitudinal arch) can be measured. Through this, we measure the 'arch size', not the patient's foot size, and prescribe a foot support that fits the arch size. 'Arch size' is also a crucial difference from existing functional insoles.
Due to the nature of the material, it can be used semi-permanently, and it is also a strong advantage that the height of the arch can be adjusted in 3 steps depending on whether it is flat or concave.
When you can't be perfect, make the best choice.

If the foot deformity and the pain caused by the foot deformity cannot be completely solved with periodic treatment in the hospital, additional measures must be sought. Stretching and lifestyle changes are also good alternatives, but they are not easy because they require willpower. On the other hand, a functional foot orthosis is a simple solution that requires only the patient's willingness or effort to be inserted into the shoe.
